Air charter broker disclosure

Who we are

Varsano Jets is a trade name (DBA) of Varsano Group Inc.. Varsano Jets is an air charter broker as defined in 14 CFR §295.5. Varsano Jets is not a direct air carrier, does not own or operate aircraft, and does not hold operational control of any flight. All air transportation arranged by Varsano Jets is performed by properly licensed direct air carriers holding an air carrier certificate under 14 CFR Part 135 (or the applicable foreign equivalent) and the required economic authority from the US Department of Transportation.

Our capacity

Unless stated otherwise in writing, Varsano Jets acts as an agent of the charter customer in arranging air transportation. Where Varsano Jets acts as an indirect air carrier or as an agent of the direct air carrier, that capacity is disclosed in the charter agreement before it is signed.

Disclosures made before you contract (§295.24)

• The corporate name of the direct air carrier in operational control of the aircraft, and any other names under which it does business.
• The capacity in which Varsano Jets is acting in arranging the transportation.
• The existence or absence of liability insurance held by Varsano Jets covering the charter customer and passengers, and the monetary limits of that insurance.

On request, we will also disclose:

• Any corporate or business relationship between Varsano Jets and the direct air carrier.
• The total cost of the air transportation, including all carrier and broker fees and government taxes.
• Any fees collected on behalf of third parties, such as fuel, landing, parking or handling charges.

If any disclosed information is unknown at the time of contracting or changes afterwards, we will provide the updated information within a reasonable time, and you may cancel the charter and receive a full refund of any amounts paid if the change is material to you (§295.24(b) and (c)).

Safety and operating standards

Varsano Jets sources aircraft only from direct air carriers that hold a current ARGUS Gold, Gold Plus or Platinum rating or Wyvern Wingman status. Ratings are issued by independent third parties and are verified per trip. These sourcing standards are Varsano Jets' own policy and do not alter the direct air carrier's sole responsibility for operational control, airworthiness and crew.

Aircraft shown on this website are representative of types available through our operator network and are not owned by Varsano Jets. Hourly rates and route prices are indicative, exclude Federal Excise Tax, segment fees and trip-specific charges, and are confirmed in writing with each quote.
